Join Monte Stanley for a tour of the Stanley-Davenport family farm which includes a spring-fed pond, Monte's Meadow which is full of pollinator-attracting and pollinator-supporting plants, and the family cemetery dating to the 1800s.

Ask Monte about his gorgeous willow tree with an amazing lineage. Three (or four?) decades ago, Monte and his wife Whitney toured the Greenville (Tennessee) home of President Andrew Johnson and saw a lovely willow tree. The guide explained that the tree was a cutting from the willow placed beside French Emperor Napoleon's tomb on the island of St. Helena. Monte asked to take a cutting and was allowed to do so. This willow has grown and flourished beside Monte's spring-fed pond. And by the way, the willow near Napoleon's tomb died so National Park Service officials sent cuttings from President Johnson's willow to St. Helena in the hopes that this special willow could once more shade Napoleon's tomb.
