Bob Lauf, local plant breeder and engineer will be selling specialty Iris varieties from his own collection in the greenhouse. He usually prefers cash, so make sure to have some on hand if possible! Bob usually has varieties of Iris that are more uncommon and unique! *He will be here from 9am until he sells out!

It’s time for our annual Butterfly Festival, celebrating our favorite insects and pollinators! This fun and educational event will have a seminar on butterfly attracting plants, children’s craft station, vendors, local artisans, educational exhibits, and a butterfly scavenger hunt on the Stanley-Davenport farm in Monte’s Meadow!

The members of our local Iris Society will be set up outside the greenhouse selling Iris from their personal collections. This is the perfect time to transplant Iris for the upcoming Spring season and you may find varieties that you’ve never seen before. The event is 9am until sellout!
On this day Stanley’s will donate a portion of the daily sales to the Rainforest Trust Organization to help in their efforts to restore and conserve rainforest habitat worldwide. Help us save the Rainforest and all its amazing biodiversity!
Bring in your unwanted plant babies (if you have any) and swap them with someone else’s! This is an excellent way to diversify your collection and add some fresh, new plants into your space. All for free! To take a plant, you must bring a plant. That’s it! No bugs please! Make sure to inspect your plants before you bring them in. Also, please have plants in containers if possible! Local Landscape Architect, retired UT professor, and Author Garry Menendez will return to share his list of 12 Common Landscape Design Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. Garry blends his knowledge with humor and usually draws a crowd so come early to grab a seat or bring one from home just in case!

District IV Council of Flower Show Judges Presents: Almost Christmas, a National Garden Club Small Standard Flower Show! This event is free and open to the public. The flower show will consist of various container garden specimens with specific themes. These containers will be judged by judges and yourself if you like or you can just stop by and marvel at their exhibitions. Stop by and join us and the District IV judges for an interesting and inspiring exhibit.
