Fall is a special time here in East Tennessee! It is a time to marvel at the stunning life cycle of our deciduous trees. People from all over the country flock here to witness the beauty of leaf change. You too, can experience the magic by planting trees or shrubs with fall color. Join us for this free seminar where we show you our favorites for seasonal color!

Join us for this special event….. Everything Mushrooms is coming to Stanley’s! Everything Mushrooms is one of our favorite neighbors, so we are very excited to welcome them to the greenhouse. Do you love mushrooms? Do you want to grow you own? It honestly is as easy as putting a bag on the counter and watching it grow! It’s fascinating, yummy, and a great science lesson for kids. Come see what the fuss is about and have some FUNgi too.
One of our favorite local plant breeders, Bob Lauf, will be set up at the greenhouse selling rhizomes from his collection. Bob is known for having more unique varieties and will be here from 9 am until sellout.
The East Tennessee Iris Society will be back and set up outside the greenhouse selling rhizomes from their personal collections. They will be here starting at 9 am and will leave when they are sold out!
Please join us for our annual Rainforest Support Day where a portion of our daily sales will be donated to the Rainforest Trust organization. We strongly believe in protecting Earth’s biodiversity, especially in our precious rainforests, which are threatened. That is why we started the event years ago, in hopes that we can be a part of a larger effort to conserve the beauty of our natural world.
