Local Landscape Architect, retired UT professor, and Author Garry Menendez will return to share his list of 12 Common Landscape Design Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. Garry blends his knowledge with humor and usually draws a crowd so come early to grab a seat or bring one from home just in case!

Garry is a registered Landscape Architect and professor emeritus in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Tennessee. His primary areas of interest include graphic representation, residential garden design, and native plant communities. For fifteen years he led students on study abroad experiences throughout Europe and Japan which focused on historic gardens and architecture, culture, and on-site sketching.
